The Friends of the Phoenix Public Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making the Phoenix Public Library system the best library system possible. The Friends have been supporting the library since 1977, and have been instrumental in organizing support and raising money for the Burton Barr Central Library and all 14 branches in the Phoenix Public Library system.
Our members are invited to participate in special events and activities at libraries throughout the city of Phoenix, and memberships start at as little as $20 a year. Without the support of our members the Phoenix library could not be what is it today, and cannot progress to what it can be tomorrow. Join us in celebrating the library’s past by becoming a part of its future.
